How to Get Your Prospects to Say YES Immediately!

Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter, the globetrotting master trainer, says:

Get your prospects to immediately accept and believe the good things you say.

How?

By changing the sequence of your words.

Yes, it is that easy to place your information inside your prospects’ heads and have them believe instead of dis-believe.

We all know how frustrating it is when our prospects don’t believe us. Here is your chance to change that forever.

We will learn magic phrases and sentences that go immediately to the decision part of the prospects’ brains, and these phrases will pre-sell your prospects.

Imagine what it would be like to have your prospects agreeing, nodding their heads, smiling, and in total rapport with you and your message.

Start learning these magic phrases and sentences now, and put them to use within minutes of the workshop. You will be shocked and amazed at the new world awaiting you.

MLM Tip from ‘Big Al’: 5 of the Lowest-Pressure Closes Any Network Marketer Could Use

  1. “And that’s it.”
  2. “And the rest is up to you.”
  3. “Well, what do you think?’
  4. “What would you like to do now?”

How’s that for low pressure?

And if you didn’t like those four low-pressure closes, here is another close that you can use with prospects:

E. “What would you like me to do now?”

When you use this last close at the end of your presentation, all of the stress and fears of rejection leave you, and the decision is now up to the prospect.

Actually, the prospect now feels a bit of pressure to make a decision. The prospect must now decide to ask you to leave, or ask for more information, or say that he is ready to join, etc.

But the neat thing is . . . the prospect has to make a decision. And, you can use this close to gracefully end your presentation.

Yes, all are very low-pressure, because I always like to treat prospects as adults.

  • MLM Tip from ‘Big Al’: When should you prospect for new distributors?

    Prospecting is like going on a diet.

    When would it be a good time to diet?

    One day a year?

    No, that would not be too successful. We may lose weight on the one day that we diet, but the other 364 days would cancel our one day of progress.

    One day a month?

    Again, our dieting is not consistent enough to be successful.

    One day a week?

    Better. But do you really think you can lose weight by dieting only one day of the week?

    Daily?

    That’s the key to success in dieting. Just a small effort on a daily schedule will create success in our diet.

    And that’s how leaders prospect. They do a little bit each day. Distributors think that leaders have some sort of secret trick that they perform to become successful. The truth is that leaders tend to be more consistent in their sponsoring efforts.

    What can we teach our new distributors so that they’ll have consistent results too?

    Teach them to make at least one contact each day. Maybe write a letter. Loan out a DVD. Mail a CD. Make a telephone call. Just talk to a prospect.

    It all adds up and soon they’ll have all the prospects they need for a successful network marketing business. No longer will they suffer from the stress of where to find the next good prospect. They’ll have plenty of prospects and their entire “positioning” changes from desperation to confidence.

    But what to say…that’s the biggest question and greatest stumbling block.

    Breaking the Ice…A 1-Minute Business Presentation…Your 2-Minute Story…Creating Word Pictures…

    And the list goes on.

    If this is a relationship business, isn’t it possible to have a relationship and STILL say the wrong thing? (Only those people who have been married or who have ever had a special someone are allowed to answer that last question!)

    Knowing what to say is at least 50% of the game. The rest is listening to the prospect.

    The Value of an Elevator Pitch

    Being in marketing of any sort you have no doubt heard of an Elevator Pitch. But what exactly is its purpose? As Seth Godin tells us below no one shops in an elevator.

    No one ever bought anything in an elevator

    The purpose of an elevator pitch isn’t to close the sale.

    The goal isn’t even to give a short, accurate, Wikipedia-standard description of you or your project.

    And the idea of using vacuous, vague words to craft a bland mission statement is dumb.

    No, the purpose of an elevator pitch is to describe a situation or solution so compelling that the person you’re with wants to hear more even after the elevator ride is over.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~
    Now an even better question: Can you deliver an effective description of what you offer, compelling enough to have people ask for more information?
    If not, you can learn to . . . and for free too! Just go to http://MLMreadysetgo.info
    There you’ll be able to register for a free series of webinars that presents the skills that will enable you to deliver a message that will have your listener asking for more.
    And it is all based on the marketing skills of another master, Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter.
    Now because of the holiday break the LIVE webinars are on a short hiatus but will resume after the New Year. But you can listen to the previous few months’ of archived recorded sessions.
  • MLM Tip from ‘Big Al’: When You Decide
    When you decide that you know too little about preparing your income tax return, you hire an accountant, bookkeeper or CPA.
    When you have legal problems, you visit an attorney.
    And when your pipes break and your house is flooding, you call a plumber.
    Yet most new network marketers won’t attend their sponsor’s and upline’s training. Instead they complain that their business isn’t growing.
    Remind your new distributors that they don’t have many network marketing skills from signing the application, so they should invest the time and energy to learn some skills at your trainings.
    When you decide that you want more skills for yourself and your team to kick your business to the next pin level, register for an ongoing webinar series featuring the 25 Essential Skills for Network Marketing Success.
    The series is live each Saturday at 1pm and will resume on November 19th. In the meantime you can review past sessions in the archive. All for free. Register here . . .
  • MLM Tip from Big Al: Close your prospect with the “truth” guarantee
    Prospects are afraid to take risks. That’s natural.
    We attempt to soothe their fears by saying things such as:
    • “Try our business. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee.”
    • “Try our product or service. We have a 30-day money-back guarantee.”
    Did you ever notice that these guarantees seldom close the prospect? The prospect feels embarrassed to take advantage of a refund, so the prospect never makes the initial commitment to try the product, service or business opportunity.
    You’ve noticed that, haven’t you?
    So why not try this? Give your prospect the “truth” guarantee. It will shock your prospect and create a “fear of loss” motivation. Say:
    “I have one guarantee about our business. If you don’t try anything, you are guaranteed that nothing will change. The commute time to your job won’t change. The limited time you have with your family won’t change. Your current paycheck won’t change.”
  • MLM Tip: Don’t blame your sponsor … yet
    Big Al knows we all like to gripe about our upline, and lord knows many of them ARE worthless, but this will help you get a better idea of whose responsibility is whose.~~~
    When you join network marketing, it is important to understand the responsibilities of your sponsor, and the responsibilities you have to yourself.
    Your sponsor is responsible to give you things such as:
    * A couple “icebreakers” to help you easily get presentations.
    * A “One-Minute Presentation” so you can look professional in explaining your business.
    * Some opening sentences to prospect your warm market without risking objections.
    * A fool-proof sentence or two to get appointments.
    If your sponsor gives you a few of the basic skills above, then what are some of your responsibilities?
    * To consistently prospect to build your business.
    * To invite prospects to meetings, three-way calls, two-on-one appointments, etc.
    * To study and attend trainings to learn the skills to be a professional network marketer.
    * To take personal responsibility for your success.
    It is a two-way street. You can’t expect your sponsor to do it all for you.
    Once your sponsor gives you some of the basic skills, it is up to you. You can whine and complain that you have no one to talk to, that no one will listen to you, that you don’t know what to do … but it is your business.
    Your choice to abandon responsibility and to invest in self-sabotaging thoughts is your decision, not your sponsor’s decision.
    You will have to take the initiative to learn and solve these problems in your business. It’s not your sponsor’s responsibility to make you successful. ~~~
    If you find yourself without the Icebreakers, a 1-minute business presentation or a fool-proof sentence to get an appointment, you’re in luck.
    There’s an ongoing webinar series devoted to the skills Big Al teaches. You can register for it and get all the details at http://www/MLMreadysetgo.info and please use my name, Tony Lauria, as your inviter.
  • MLM Tip: It’s A ‘Talking’ But Not Necessarily A ‘Selling’ Business
    I had the great pleasure of hosting one of the all-time giants of Network Marketing and generic training, Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter, this past Monday here in New York City.
    http://www.Meetup.com/MLM-skills-for-success
    ‘Big Al’, as he is affectionately known, tells those interested that to be successful in any NetMark business, the skill of being able to speak commercially is essential.
    After all, he says, companies pay millions to ad agencies to advertise on TV and radio to get our attention and get us to take action, all in 15, 30 or 60 seconds. And why can they do that?
    Because they know how to speak commercially to our subconscious minds.
    We must be able to do the same if we desire to succeed.
    Now what in the world do I mean but this article’s title?
    Just this:
    Of course we are selling stuff: No sales, no company profits, no commissions, no checks.
    But to too many people selling and closing means saying out-dated even dumb things like:
    • So what part of my presentation didn’t you understand?
    • Don’t you love your family?
    • Any three-year old can see this is a great opportunity – do you have any problem with it?
    • Are you a decision-maker or a loser?
    Don’t you want to just cringe, fold your arms or just run away?
    What would your efforts be like if you could really just TALK to people, effectively and to their subconscious minds?
    And in effect have them sell and close themselves?
    You can access these skills at no cost to you by registering for a webinar series that is fully sanctioned by ‘Big Al’ and that focuses on his 25 essential skills for Network Marketing success. (Go here to get the full list http://BigAlSkills.com)
    And register for the webinars here: http://www.MLMreadysetgo.info.
    MLM Tip: Just What is Network Marketing?
    Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreiter fills us in:
    When people first hear the words “network marketing” or “MLM” – the first question in their minds is, “What do you mean?”
    Network marketing is simply:
    “Recommending and promoting what you like.”
    That’s it.
    Everyone already does network marketing.
    We all recommend and promote things to our friends and acquaintances. This is part of the human experience. We naturally want to share our favorite resources, products, music and ideas.
    Here is a quick example.
    You see an ad in the paper for a new restaurant opening. You go, have a great meal, and then you tell your friends how wonderful the food was.
    That was network marketing.
    Now, the restaurant owner appreciated all of your word-of-mouth advertising. He would like to reward you, but he has already spent his entire marketing budget on advertising. So, when you return to his restaurant, he gives you a bottle of wine with your next meal as a “thank you” for bringing more customers to his restaurant.
    Yes, we recommend movies, books, baby sitters, dentists, cars and more. We all do network marketing every day, however … some people actually get paid for it.
    Want to get paid for what you are already doing?
    Consider this. Many companies believe that the word-of-mouth recommendation and promotion of their products and services is more effective than money spent on advertising. Here is what they do.
    They stop their traditional advertising and marketing.
    These companies then use these unspent advertising and marketing monies to reward people who recommend and promote their products and services.
    So if you like the products and services of one of these companies, don’t change what you are doing. Simply continue recommending and promoting, and let these companies send you cash every month.
    There are two types of people in the world:
    • Those that recommend and promote the things they like, and
    • Those that get paid for it.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Want to be more professional?

    Need help determining what a good opportunity is and what, EXACTLY, you’ll have to do to get paid?
