  • Want = Lack. Is That What You Mean?

Maybe you’ve tried the Law of Attraction principles and you say that they don’t work for you.  Have you ever thought you’re using the wrong words?

Consider these affirmation sentences, which you may have already used:

I want a new car.   I want a new house.   I want the ideal relationship for me.   I want to win the lottery.

Note that the word want also means lack and now reconsider those sentences in this light:

I lack a new car. I lack a new house. I lack the ideal relationship for me. I lack winning the lottery.

Words are powerful as we well know. I’m going to take a guess that you don’t mean to confirm  I lack a new car but instead mean I desire a new car.

Now say those two sentences and please pay ATTENTION to how you FEEL. If you are paying ATTENTION the feelings should be worlds apart.

    want-or-desire

    I lack a new car.

    I desire a new car.

Worlds apart because you can NEVER have what you LACK (WANT)

but you can get what you DESIRE.

How do you feel about that?
